Happy Birthday, MiCA! After a long struggle in a two-year process, the European regulation on Markets in Crypto Assets – MiCA for short – was passed today, June 30, 2022. This step comes exactly one month after the European regulation on a pilot regime for market infrastructures based on distributed ledger technology was adopted on May 30, 2022.
